New Year 2009

Happy 2009, all! What an insane year. There's been so much good:

Getting into my first-choice college.
Finding Supernatural and J2 and wincest and officially reserving my seat in special hell. We will have the time of our lives down there, I'm sure.
Getting back to LJ & fandom again.

Finding my niche. I'm getting over some of my shyness and becoming more comfortable. Which leads to...
Beginning to like myself. Even though I definitely still have hate days, I'm so much happier than I was a year ago.

I've never been much for resolutions and all, but I'm so excited, you guys. This year will be the end of high school and the beginning of college and I can't wait. Have an awesome year, everyone. ♥

Whoaaah, you just found SPN last year? :o Me too! Technically I've known about it since it began; I just didn't get really into it until last year. :p

Yeah, I found it in August - I'd read some fantastic fic for SPN which made me really curious about these horribly screwed-up boys, so I started watching season one. (Admittedly, I started out highly prejudiced against it because it was on the CW.) I finished season three about a week before season four began, and it felt like waiting forever, so I can hardly imagine how awful it was for everyone else!

It really brought me back to fandom and LJ in general, and I hadn't realized how much I missed it all.
