That explains a lot. It must be so hard for him to go on interviews and appear at cons when he's that private and shy. Acting is one thing, trying to be yourself while trying to be what everyone expects you to be is another. I just imagine Jared being all protective of him at times - of course I'm clearly IMAGINING that, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. He's always seemed like a really grounded person, not full of himself, not trying to be some persona. Jared's larger than life, but it feels genuine, like that's how he always is.

As someone who's extremely shy when I first meet people, I can't even imagine being the focus of something like a con because it would terrify me. Though honestly, I don't think you're fully imagining that Jared's protective of him - I mean yes, we definitely have our tinhats on, but there's such a difference when they're together versus when he's alone.
