Happy (late) Valentine's Day, flist!! Am I really the only single person who still loves this holiday? Because it's really just as much about friends and family and being a schmoop. And the opportunity to embarrass as many people as possible, because ganging up on my friends in the hallway and singing 'Centerfold' as a duet is apparently my idea of a good time.

AND THEN OMFG JARED. I met up with balefully, sadcypress, beckaandzac & ciaan at Gallery Place for F13, which. It has been over 24 hours and I still have not recovered from his ASS in those JEANS, GOD. I love horror movies because I am all about the gore and ridiculous fake blood, and I haven't seen the original so I can't compare, but ajdsfkljf SO WORTH IT. Loved Clay's tiny motorcycle, where his knees were up to his chin, and the douchebag's death scream - which was nowhere near the magnificence of Dean's, but no one can touch that. I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as I did, but most of the movie was spent whimpering at Jared's general self being too attractive for real life. And YES to the Clay/Whitney-Sam/Dean - YOU ARE MY CLOSEST SIBLING, EVEN THOUGH I LEFT YOU AT 17, OUR PARENT DIED, HOW CAN I GO ON WITHOUT YOU - asdjsdogpadsjf no words. Kind of need to see it again, but am broke. Must rectify!

And afterwards we trawled DC looking for coffee and a place to sit and freak out, but two of the Starbucks were closed (WTF, DC? 10 on a Friday night? Fail.) and the third was jammed. In the interests of Jared Padalecki, we went to Hooters (I hadn't been there since Idaho, but just for the record: they do T&A pretty much the same all across America) and discussed how Jared's peen is made of diet Coke and is like one of those squishy jellytube things and generally cannot be handled by anyone but Jensen. HIGHLY INTELLECTUAL CONVERSATION, I TELL YOU. Oh my god, so much fun, and I got to meet all of these amazing, lovely fangirls and freak out about hot gay incest in the middle of a crowd. And on the metro home with balefully, she told me she wrote Sweet Charity and Big Bang and something else all during her MCATs, so I need to get off my ass and actually write spn_j2_bigbang by May. I have no excuse!

Yesterday was work (where I was useless because JARED PADALECKI) and then our rivalry basketball game, which was fun because all of the guys were so high on testosterone that three fights started on the court and two of their players were thrown out. But we overrepresented them at their court and won by almost double, which was way off from the tight game everyone was expecting after last time. And watched Chocolat with spiced cocoa, because there is nothing schmoopier and happier. Good times. ♥

I haven't heard anything about F13 except how amazing Jared's ass looks, hahahaha. If I didn't scare so freakin' easily, I'd go see it. As it is, I think I'll wait until it comes out on DVD. :P

I love horror films too so I spent most of F13 giggling apart from the end when I started to get scared. I went with two (boy) friends who no nothing about JP and they looked at me all funny at the part when Jason is holding Clay's head to the cutting machine and I was all "nooo, not his pretty face, pleaseee!" You're right about the motorycycle, I was like couldn't they get a bigger bike and then I realised Jared probably just makes the bike look tiny :)

I think the dog scared me as much as or more than Jason! And YES, I was so scared that Jared's beautiful face was going to be mutilated, because what would I do with my life then?? The bike was probably HUGE, but nothing can compare to the Padalecki.

I don't even drink Diet Coke, but I will never be able to see it again without thinking of an elaborate metaphor for when you drink that, you're sucking Jared Padalecki's cock. Which is really more of an incentive rather than a deterrent.

I do not even know where to begin looking for Clay/Whitney, but they are so Winchestery that I can't believe no one's written it yet!

It was really a fun game to watch - four players got technicals simultaneously, which I think is a new record for us. But yes, we only barely won our last game against them when their 7'1" star was out, so we were a bit worried going in!

I honestly can't stop giggling EVERY TIME I grab a Diet Coke. And I drink a LOT of Diet Coke. I'm a little worried about the longterm effects of fangirl time...
