marenziWow. You guys... I'm honestly so disappointed in my show right now. It was predictable and very poorly written and accomplished nothing.
On one hand, Gibbs. And Abby. I love those two to death, their father/daughter relationship and that closeness Gibbs doesn't have with anyone else. And I loved Tony & McGee's interaction too, because they snark so cutely. McGee telling him to stop being such a girl!!
Also, Ziva. Her kickass-ness makes me smile all the time. If that really was Cote de Pablo singing, I will be very impressed. (And how hot is that scar??) I was very intrigued by her relationship with her father... the innocent kiss on the cheek that she offered and him pulling her back for tongue action. And the look on her face when she finally pulled away - it would definitely make her backstory even better, is all I'm saying, especially considering how she interacts with male authority figures.
HOWEVER. Those best things that I just listed? Took up maybe 5 minutes of the episode. Lee, go die already. Sammy invented the bitchface first and it works on him; you're just too vanilla and cookie-cutter to waste time on. Your quote unquote betrayal was blatantly obvious and SO fucking predictable that I'm still pissed. Whoeverthefuck you other two were, just GTFO already, you weren't any better.
The writing was just awful. No imagination and so many cliches. AHH SHOW. WHY. This is honestly the suckiest season premiere I've ever watched, you guys, and that just makes me so sad because I used to love this show. Yeah, SPN has definitely taken over my soul, but I've been watching NCIS since S1 and it's gotten so much better in the past few yearsonce Kate died.
In conclusion: Plz to be finding all-new writers, bring my team back, have Cote sing more, & give us angsty kickass Ziva background. And more Gibbs/Abby hugging. I MISS YOU SHOW, LET'S HAVE HOT, REALLY-WELL-WRITTEN MAKEUP SEX NEXT WEEK, Y/Y??
