I had a ridiculously long post typed up about this weekend, but it sort of devolved into rambling about shenanigans & drunken hookups with the guys on the team. And that I remembered a dream for the first time in years at the motel on Friday, but it was pretty much about a drunken team orgy and pole dancing on a rifle. Yeah. That kind of sums it all up.

Anyway, this weekend was the Midwest rifle invitational, so we shot at Murray State in Kentucky on Friday & University of Tennessee at Martin on Saturday, then got back to Indiana around 5 am Sunday. I had personal bests in everything, so I'm pretty happy with that. :)

fallintosilence made a beautiful rainbow picspam about love. You should all go read it and smile and be happy. Also, today was GayOK day on campus and I now have pretty banners above my bed. ♥

I never even knew that rifle teams existed until I wandered down to tryouts, but now I do not know what I would do without these boys and this sport. So much fun. :)

No, there are very few NCAA teams left - we're the only D3 team left in the Midwest, so we just shoot against the D1 schools in the surrounding states. There are apparently high school rifle teams as well, actually - or at least in Pennsylvania, since we have brothers on the team from eastern PA who shot in high school. They also had old-school home ec, though, with baking and sewing and everything, which amuses me greatly. :D

OKAY. I THINK I HAVE IT. Though you seem to not be online but that is okay! I thiiiiiiiiink I have added you to my buddy list and it will show up when you are on. I hope. IN ANY CASE, I am... basically always online, if this works the way it should. ;) But sometimes I am actually away, and one would hope that away message would also work for gmail... (I use trillian, which lets me use AIM, Windows messenger, Yahoo and apparently gchat all in one. It's the theory anyway.)

Ooooh, I see! Oh man, home ec! I would have enjoyed home ec far more than some of the classes I had to take. ;)

Haha, I would have loved it! I'm stupidly domestic - I love to cook, I'm OCD so I clean, I can sew well, etc. - and that would have been way better than chemistry. :)
