marenziWent to donate blood today down in Arlington at the Capitals arena - and found that if you were one of the first 500, which I was, you got two free tickets to a Caps game! $70 worth of nosebleed seats plus a stupidly cute jersey t-shirt, just for donating blood. Which was awesome, but is also sort of sad that people won't donate without major incentives. :/
AND THEN Backstrom came up from the rink where they were practicing to talk to people while we were getting our blood drawn. He was very sweet, very talkative, just sort of walked around and laughed a lot. I got him to sign my fake jersey & we talked about Spokane Chiefs. One of the men working there warned him away from the jailbait when we started talking about my t-shirt (a Hoopfest shirt from Spokane) and he blushed adorably.
Oh, awkward boys. ♥
